Seattle Area Role Players
It's been a few years since I put the books on the shelf and decided not to journey back the macabre labyrinthine passages of imagination from week to week. I had lost the drive to try to keep the game going when we moved north of Seattle, just because I knew we wouldn't be able to keep the same players active and willing to join us due to another half-hour tacked onto their regular commute.
The rainy season of the Pacific Northwest always has me considering though, and this time I pulled the books down to page through them in what I thought might be the last time before passing them onward. Instead, I realized that we have some friends in the area who have discussed interest in playing the genre again, there are also old friends who do more role-play online that have mentioned how they'd love to get something happening there. So, as I continued to work my way through each of the rulebooks (Vampire, Werewolf, Mage, Wraith, Changeling, Mummy, Hunter, Prometheus, Demon...) I began to consider new possibilities.
I started to work on ideas for a new Changeling game, one that touches on each of the other aspects of tWoD settings. I have been working on characters each day, now, for the last four days, in and around the work I have to do. I've been looking at ways to do both an online and in-person/tabletop RP scenario that allows for two groups to work toward the same end from different angles. And I think I have finally come up with the right sense of timing and ways to make such an endeavor work.
I was once told that if I ever picked up White Wolf again, I'd have a number of players coming to join my games. The time is close to see if that's true or not.
